About Diary of the Damned

Diary of the Damned is an MSPA-Like webcomic detailing the events of a biblical apocalypse that took place during 2021-2023. We follow Harmonia Iris Reeds as she recounts those years to her daughter, Penelope.

This webcomic is a major piece of a larger storyline, spanning multiple ARGs, games, and webseries. It's highly recommended to read Metamorphosis Radio and to play Metamorphosis Aftershow upon finishing Diary of the Damned, as the two stories are incredibly intertwined.

The Process.

This story has gone through a LOT of iterations. This is the final one, and best one, and fully canon one.
Canon is fickle, though. Somewhat meaningless. It's a plot device. It doesn't mean much to a casual viewer, because why should it? To a creator, canon is a necessity. That's how stories work. But throughout the years, so many things were lost or decanonized. And, really, that's okay. There's a lot of stuff that is still canon though and is just never shown! But that's okay!

The first iteration of our story was created by Jessica Anne Lawson, an old friend who is no longer with us. It was an anthology novel series that spanned six books. Few copies still exist, yet most claim it never existed to begin with.
The second was a webstory by the same name as Jessica's anthology, The World Reached. Around 2/3 of the way in, the Writer seemingly went mad and destroyed it all.
The third was a blog written by Harmonia Iris Reeds. Due to the birth of her child, it was too much to upkeep.
And now, what we have here, is our final edition. Definitive. Are you ready?
